Nancy Pelosi’s Husband Invested Millions in Google Shares
Nancy Pelosi disclosed today that her husband Paul invested between $1 million to $5 million in Alphabet Class C (GOOG: US) shares in September, the new filings showed.
The trade was made on September 16. Pelosi bought shares when Google’s price closed at $103.63. Google shares are trading around the $100 mark on October 17 after closing at $97.18 on October 14.
Buying Alphabet shares is the fifth trade made by Mr. Pelosi in 2022 that includes a size above $1 million. He previously bought shares of Tesla and Nvidia and sold shares of Nvidia and Visa (V: US) for the same amount.
Mr. Paul Pelosi made other stock market trades in September, including the sale of Call Options of chipmakers Nvidia (NVDA: US) and Micron (MU: US). Both shares occurred on the same day, September 16. The Congresswoman’s husband sold $100,000 - $250,000 worth of Nvidia shares and between $15,000 - $50,000 worth of shares of Micron.
House Speaker Pelosi also reported that her husband sold less than $1,000 worth of Disney (DIS: US) Call Options in September. The new trades come after Pelocy disclosed in July that her husband sold between $1 million and $5 million worth of Nvidia shares on July 26 at an average price of $165.05.
He previously bought Nvidia shares for an amount within the same range on June 17 when the stock price closed at $158.80, which suggests Paul Pelosi made a profit.
Nvidia is one of the most-traded stocks by Paul Pelosi, joined by other big tech companies like Apple (AAPL: US), Microsoft (MSFT: US), and Amazon (AMZN: US).
